Dr. Vivek Babaria, DO, FAAPMR is a fellowship-trained interventional spine, sports, and musculoskeletal medicine physician based in Newport Beach, California. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and serves as Director of Regenerative Medicine and Nonsurgical Sports Medicine at DISC Sports and Spine Center, the country's largest network of spine and orthopedic surgeons, where he is the first osteopathic physician on the team.

He completed a North American Spine Society-accredited interventional spine and musculoskeletal sports medicine fellowship at OSS Health under Dr. Michael Furman, author of the leading atlas on image-guided spine and musculoskeletal procedures, a program in the same accredited tier as Stanford, Cleveland Clinic, Hospital for Special Surgery, Vanderbilt and Johns Hopkins.

Over the course of his career he has personally performed more than 4,000 orthobiologic procedures and over 20,000 interventional procedures, and has been trusted with the care of athletes across the PGA, NFL, NBA, MLB, ISA, AVP and Red Bull, as well as professional musicians and performers.

He was named to the Spine Intervention Society's SpineLine 2024 "20 Under 40," honoring the country's most accomplished spine physicians under 40. He serves on the Patient Safety and Patient Education Committees of the North American Spine Society, the Patient Safety Committee of the Spine Intervention Society, and the Policy and Advocacy Committee of the Pacific Spine and Pain Society.
